Brookland Middle School Mascot

Frankie’s Folio had the unique opportunity to work with Grimm+Parker, Hartman-Cox, and Skanska USA, plus community residents and students, to create the character and artwork for the Brookland Middle School mascot. Brookland MS is a brand new school in Ward 5 with a unique focus on performing arts and world languages.

Initial mascot sketches selected by Brookland School Improvement Committee (SIT). The SIT is made up of resident volunteers from the Brookland neighborhood.

The "Breeze" Mascot is voted the winner and digitized.

Final mascot artwork is installed on the gymnasium floor of the new school.
